Get PC error-free in minutes
In this guide, we will discover some possible causes that might generate SQL Server 2005 error 15401 and then I will give some possible fixes that you can try to solve this problem. You can get error 15401 if for some reason that particular domain controller for the domain where the login resides (same or different domain) is not for sale. If your Internet connection is in a domain other than SQL Server, ensure that the correct trust relationships are established between those specific domains.
Fixed: Error: Error 15401: Windows NT user or club ‘username’ not found. Check the company name again.
This is a fairly well-known bug, so some readers have asked me to write an article about it. The reason for not deepening this topic is because the solution to some of the errors is very well explained in the Book On Line. All possible causes and ways to solve them are well described here. This post/article should be considered a bookmark and solution.

Windows NT male or female group or username not found. Check the name again.
I have a suggestion, now it works for me.
It seems I couldn’t add new access for local windows user from local sql server, just to close the folder, see .< br> SQL Server Conduite Studio Process will always give individual user IDs, for example: AMITYDave.
Actually, the correct case is usually AmityDave.
Running sp_grantlogin “AmityDave” worked fine.
Bad GUI tools don’t make investing easier.
I got this error message when I tried to manually change the name of a group window after renaming the physical server.
After renaming the web hosting server, I use sp_dropserver and sp_addserver to synchronize the SQL with the new nameserver. Then I restart SQL Server. Everything looks like a good job. However, under “Securityt” -> “Connections” there are 3 forums that usually have the server name prefixed with “old” and also contain the server name in their name or in the company name (ex: old server nameSQLServer2005SQLAgentUser$old server name$MSSQLSERVER) < /p>
Can you give me some advice on how to solve this problem?
I found a lot of useful information on your current website.
Thanks for your help!
I had the same problem as you. Then I right clicked on your name and clicked “Rename”. It seems to work fine.
Hi, tomorrow I have a new SQL Server 2008 statement. I want to add another client to my existing Windows User Service Provider in SQL Server 2008. I have an account with a different name as a level, and I need another account entry with a different name. Please help me.
HelloYeah, this is Mike, a C# programmer. I tried software using your own database. and I personally want to apply user management. Each user sees their data. But some storage data in the table is the same for all users. is there any method in sql server. short-term level of security. or user management method
Thank you in advance
SQL Server 2008 introduces encryption methods to encrypt or even decrypt some data, but enabling this quality requires changes to data recovery and storage procedures.
thank you. but some other… information.
I just ran into a bug and the knowledge base above is not working, that will help me. I just installed SS2K8 Developer on W2K8 (64-bit) so I do it with setup/config. I can runManagement Studio locally on the server and simply log in using Windows Authentication as a domain administrator.
When I try to enter a new login for a website user, either through the GUI by typing anything, or by searching for the user using the search button in the software or through DDL, I get the full error 15401: “Windows NT user set or “” not found.” This is considered a new installation; No connection is active except for OneAdministrator which I integrated during installation and the integrated Wine. I was able to list specific domain user accounts with a box search. I can ping, I would say the DC is the CI mapping and also the DNS is fine.
In addition, all services start as AUTHORITYNETWORK nt SERVICE.
What’s the problem? Ideas?
This may be a minimal delay, but we hope someone else is still having the same problem. Then, if you want to use domain credentials for the final connection to SQL, the mostThe safe way that I know and recommend is to use Server sql Service Biking as a sufficient domain account. This allows the referencing engine to read validation of incoming connections to SQL Server using AD credentials. Multi-domain authentication is somewhat dubiously abstract in the sense that it boils down to trusting domains.
Check out this article if you still need to run “NT AUTHORITYNETWORK SERVICE” (major migration required): https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/324321/how – for – resolve-error-15401
